Rikki Boswell

Associate DVM

From a very young age, Dr. Boswell dreamed of being a veterinarian. Born in the San Fernando Valley, she attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. After graduating with a B.S. in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary focus, she worked as a veterinary assistant at a local specialty hospital and as an animal care technician at a local animal shelter. These experiences reinforced her lifelong passion for veterinary medicine, compelling her to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Boswell has an interest in veterinary acupuncture and is working on getting certified in Veterinary Acupuncture through Chi University. She hopes to complete this process in 2021. She has also completed Fear Free Certification and utilizes those skills daily to make the patient/client experience more pleasant. Her ultimate goal is to help pets live long and happy lives.

When not at work, Dr. Boswell spends her time riding her horse, Elliot, playing with her three dogs, and hanging out with her husband and four cats.
